RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and maintain innovative and effective social media accounts promoting MAC in Cape. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and implement marketing campaigns. Excellent writing and public speaking skills. At least one year of work experience in advertising, design and/or public relations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Serve on college committees and handle other duties as assigned. Maintain student records, providing reports and recommendations for improvement in service. Assess student needs and eliminate barriers. Provide applicants and families with information about programs, admissions and financial aid. Proactively retain students by reaching out to provide support and connecting them with resources. Recruit students, serve as the public relations and information liaison at community events. Work closely with faculty to assist with program needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist students with enrollment. Experience with data management, computer systems and presentation skills required.
Experience in higher education preferred. At least one year of customer service work. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree required. Some educational stipends for self, spouse and dependents available. SALARY: Annual salary equivalent to $15/hr. Some responsibilities include performing landscaping work, installing and removing holiday decorations, identifying needs and completing work (painting, repairs, general maintenance work, etc.) Work 7:30am – 4pm Monday through Friday, or as assigned. Operate motorized mowing equipment as well as floor machines and other equipment related to different job tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a variety of tasks to assist the General Services Director in assuring the Mineral Area College campus is maintained in an attractive and appropriate manner. Operate cleaning and grounds equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, mops, brooms, lawnmowers, snow shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, faculty, administrators, students, and the general public. Working knowledge and skills to use cleaning materials, tools, equipment, and methods to ensure a safe work environment.

The TRIO Talent Search program serves 1000 low-income, potential first-generation college students in four area counties. Motivate participants to complete high school and enroll in post-secondary education. Design and supervise student activities including school workshop meetings and field trips. Engage parents and school faculty and staff to develop positive educational experiences for students. Responsibilities include: regular travel to target schools during the academic year to recruit and interview prospective students and provide services preparing students for college success. RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a nine-month, grant-funded position responsible for assisting the Talent Search Director in managing the project and providing services to students who are enrolled in the program. The federal grant requires preference be given to applicants with backgrounds similar to program participants. Driver’s license and ability to drive a 12-passenger van required. Experience working with disadvantaged students ability to motivate students academically ability to prepare weekly reports on student progress demonstrated skills in oral and written communication. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related area.
